Seriously? Five months? It's taken me five months to get settled in a new house/city/state enough to blog post? No excuse. Oh well.
So much has happened over the last few (5!) months, talk about life taking new directions! Whew! When I chose the word "Adventure" for 2011, can I just say I had no idea! So much fun moving somewhere new. Okay, that's not even a tiny bit true, at least not the actual "moving" part. If I never tape up or unpack another box again in my life it will be too soon.
However, the "new" part of moving is fantastic. New everything! New surroundings! (Also, in my case, new ways to get lost in a new city, but that's another story). Seriously though, it is fun start afresh.
Love the townhouse we found! Big, bright and airy. Especially love the fact that we now have an official office space. Technically, Chris and I are supposed to be sharing this office, but we all know that it is actaully a scrapbooking room right? I think I've re-organized my stuff about a dozen times so far. Many trips to IKEA and the dollar store for new storage containers - how much fun is that? I'll have to post some pictures soon. It's pink, very pink.
It's a bit different moving from a larger city in FL to a smaller town in SC, but we like how home-y this area is. Adorable little downtown area, lots of parks, etc. I'm loving all of the antique stores too.
Oh, and we traded on of the smaller cars in for a mini-van. Apparently, it's claim to fame of size is it's ability to seat six, but I think it's just more room for scrapbooking shopping. Isn't that what Dodge had in mind? Anyway, a mini-van, an official family car.
Now, just to find the scrapbookers in South Carolina and Georgia! Are you out there??? I'm working on some venues for classes and crops and have some classes scheduled at SC Hobby Lobby stores. I know you are, come find me!
